Ms. Karn is a native of Udon Thani, Thailand, where she lived her childhood and early adult life. Udon Thani is famous for its extensive Orchid fields and the Red Lotus Sea, which is a 36 square kilometer breathtaking ocean of red and pink water lilies during the peak of blooming season.
This small Thai village, near the border of Laos, is a feast of sensory experiences encompassing the scent of blooming flowers and sounds of Buddhist Wat (temple) bells chiming. The culture is located deep in the heart of the “Isaan” region and is rich with traditional foods, asian beauty, and a community that is connected deeply to the nature that surrounds it.
Mr. John is a native of Seattle, USA, and has made Thailand his home for 6 years while developing his appreciation for the Thai culture, language, and tradition. He moved to the region to switch gears from an over-busy and over-stressed business life towards more balance and connection to a lifestyle filled with rich, traditional, mindful cultural experiences and meaning.
